DJ Rosie Rosie Hicks, more commonly known as “DJ Rosie,” is a rising local celebrity in the DC/Baltimore metro area. A music lover from childhood, she became passionate about Hip-Hop and R&B around age 10. Since then she has built her own extensive library of music and developed her own style of spinning the latest Hip Hop, R&B and Top 40 hits. Officially, she began her DJing career in 2001 here in Baltimore and continued her growth at many local bars, private parties, and college events. An employee of The Hippo for the past four years, Rosie began as the original DJ of The Thursday Night Hip Hop Party, which has a loyal following each week.
